We are pleased to offer you the fifth French altiport equipped with a hard runway, located in the Pyrénées, right in the center of the Peyragudes ski resort.
The first spectacular scenes of the film "Tomorrow Never Die" (18th in the James Bond series, released in 1997).
were shot there,
The relief of the altiport and the runway are fully modeled in 3d, with ground textures reaching resolution of 4cm per pixel.
The profile of the real runway is perfectly respected, with its slope inclined to 15 % and 335 meters long only.
Specific texture sets for summer and winter (LLH-Options configuration utility provided).
For the winter season, the scene presents real layers of snow on the ground, on objects and buildings.
Such precision in the modeling of the ground allowed us to put up dozens of elements, especially the ski lifts of the resort, and the biggest are animated !
